We were very happy to see most of our Summer Reading volunteers (and some family members) at the farm to celebrate their work on August 13. We could not have wished for a more perfect day — clear skies, sunshine, and pleasant warmth instead of blistering heat.
The Teens, ‘tweens, and younger kids played badminton, volleyball, croquet, and horseshoes, and enjoyed grooming, petting, and riding some of the horses. Everyone also had lunch — hot dogs and hamburgers, chips, cookies, pop, lemonade, and ice cream.

WOW!!! Summer reading looks like many people helped to make it a success. Involving adults, teens and tweens together makes so much sense. Congratulations to all involved. I’m sure the younger students loved it!!1
