This year’s Summer Reading program brought lots of kids to the library. 72 kids ages 3 to 12 enrolled and 16 teens participated as Teen Leaders.
22 adults also volunteered to help with various activities, including a Saturday night field trip to the Hyde Memorial Observatory in Lincoln and the final day Swim Party in Brainard.
Attendance at the special Wednesday programs averaged 42 kids and 10 teens. Best of all, 41 of the kids submitted reading reports and earned special prizes. And all the kids received several books to keep, as well.
