Tickets for the October 13 Style Show Salad Luncheon and for the Quilt Raffle are on sale now at the library and at the Oak Creek Valley Bank. Members of the Woman’s Club also have tickets to sell. Support the library and buy your tickets now! Funds raised go entirely to the library, to buy books and other materials.
Luncheon tickets are $7.00. Quilt raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. As usual, the quilt, made and donated by Jean Ang, is gorgeous.
The luncheon features a huge variety of salads, made and contributed by members of the Valparaiso Woman’s Club, along with sweet breads and other treats. The Vickerage in Lincoln supplies the clothes, which members of the club model during the luncheon. Local businesses and individuals donate many, many items for door prizes.
The luncheon is at noon on Saturday Oct. 13th. Doors open at 11:00 a.m., to allow time for everyone to look at all the tables — each one uniquely decorated by one of the members of the Woman’s Club.
