Lost Writers of the Plains is an NET Radio series beginning March 6th, with a companion website and ebook. It features eight authors who once were poised for fame, but who have become “lost” to contemporary readers:  an author who had a stroke when she got a bad review; a stark realist censored by an anxious dean, a bohemian poet in the middle of Kansas- these and more are the Lost Writers. All have a plains connection, almost all have ties to Nebraska.

The free Lost Writers of the Plains iBook, available at the  iTunes store, is designed to be interactive. It offers adult non-fiction and fiction completely integrated with sound, video and images.
