High Plains Christmas!

The Legacy of the Plains High Plains Christmas” celebration kicks off December 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to   3:00 p.m.  The main event is the Christmas Tree Contest. Non-profit organizations and service clubs each decorate their own artificial tree surrounding a theme in hopes of winning.  The contest will end at 4:00 p.m. on December 22nd and a press release will be issued about the winners.  This is the first year the Western Library System has participated.  Our tree is #16 in the back room.  Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to visit the museum to cast $1 vote tickets for our tree in support of all of our libraries.  We get to keep 50¢ of each vote and the other 50¢ goes to support the museum.  On December 2nd, the museum will also feature their annual soup lunch, wagon rides, marshmallow roast, and other activities and entertainment for all ages.  Come join the fun and don’t forget to cast your vote for #16SEE YOU THERE!!!
