Fundraising

The Alliance Public Library Foundation fundraises in order to financially support the library and its services outside of city budget constraints. Examples of such support include paying special presenter fees, providing refreshments during program events, and making special purchases.

Recent purchases include the furniture and decor for the new children’s room and the private meeting space housed in the library’s old Heritage Room, refreshments and prizes for the Summer Reading programs, and an electric piano for use during Story Time.

Current and Ongoing Projects

The APL Foundation is currently raising funds to help create a new Children’s Room, located in the old public computer lab, where families and young library patrons can enjoy books, programs and crafts. You can help by making a monetary donation or supporting one of our current fundraisers:

Because of You . . .

The APL Foundation fundraisers are successful because of the generous support of our patrons and the community at large. We thank you for seeing the value in libraries and for helping us expand upon our basic services.

If you have an idea for a library fundraiser or would like to offer your time to help fundraise, please reach out to the APL Library Board. We would love to hear from you!
