The Alliance Public Library Foundation fundraises in order to financially support the library and its services outside of city budget constraints. Examples of such support include paying special presenter fees, providing refreshments during program events, and making special purchases.
Recent purchases include the furniture and decor for the new children’s room and the private meeting space housed in the library’s old Heritage Room, supplying refreshments and prizes for the Summer Reading programs, and purchasing an electric piano for use during Story Time programs.
Current and Ongoing Projects
- Library Garden: buy a leaf to add to our library tree and help improve services to our youngest patrons.
- Library Book and Gift Store: open during library hours - proceeds benefit the APL Foundation.
- Reader-a-Saurus: fill his tummy with your coins - located at the circulation desk.
The annual gift basket auction is scheduled to return this November!
