Library News

14 December 2010

The library just obtained new books from McNaughton which are as follows: Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury, While We’re Far Apart by Lynn Austin, Immanuel’s Veins by Ted Dekker, Grace: A Christmas Sisters of The Heart by Shelley Gray, The Murder of King Tut by James Patterson(a childrens book), and The Gift by James Patterson(a young adult book). I apologize that this list isn’t very long or varied, but I have ordered more books. As soon as they arrive I’ll also put these in the paper. People in the community have also been very generous in donating some wonderful books to the library, some of which are the following: The Confession by John Grisham (donated by Gail Looney), Even Silence Has An End by Ingrid Betancourt (donated by Shirley Rothwell), In The Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson (donated by Carolyn Cerny), The Jury by Fern Michaels, and the list could go on. Please stop in and check them out. I’m in the library Monday thru Friday from 2-5pm and would be happy to help you find some of the newer books.

Also, it has come to my attention everyone may not know that the library does have wireless. It is available 24/7 even if you’re not in the building. You just have to be close enough to recieve the signal, which would be the parking lot. I would be happy to get your computer set up because you’ll need a code. Just stop in during my working hours.
