It was a busy week here at Butler Memorial Library. On Thursday, we hosted our first book club. The kids are reading “I Will Always Write Back” by Caitlin Alifrenka. After discussing the book, they colored flowerpots. Once everyone was done the library gifted them with succulents to put in their flowerpots.<\/p>\n

On Friday, we hosted our first story hour. While Linda read to the little kids, Courtney assisted the older kids in making crystals. Once Linda was done reading, the little kids colored a picture of an elephant. They then put a party blower in as the elephant’s nose. Finally all the kids settled down to eat a snack and then go home.<\/p>\n
