Tired of your same old relationships?\u00a0 Need something new and exciting?\u00a0 During the entire month of February stop by the library for a mysterious rendezvous.\u00a0 We\u2019d like to fix you up with a blind date (with a book of course); after all we are a library! We\u2019ll select a variety of books, wrap them up in plain brown paper (no peeking) and you won\u2019t know the \u201cidentity\u201d of your blind date until you get it home.\u00a0 Will it be fiction or non-fiction, a mystery, biography, or a cookbook?\u00a0 Funny, heart-breaking or informative?\u00a0 Sure, you may be disappointed; then again\u2026 you may end up really enjoying something you may not otherwise have chosen for yourself.<\/p>\n
Each book will have a \u201cRate Your Date\u201d slip.\u00a0 If you are so inclined, say whatever you want about your date (even if your date was a dud- don\u2019t worry, its feelings won\u2019t be hurt).\u00a0 With each slip you return, you can enter a drawing to win dinner for two at the Lincoln Manor Steak House in Central City.\u00a0 So, be sure to stop by the library anytime between February 1 and 28.\u00a0 Who knows, you might get lucky; if not in love then perhaps in literature?<\/p>\n
