Christmas Story Time
To celebrate the Christmas season we visited the first grade at Elgin Public and St. Boniface to read Jingle Bells by Iza Trapani. The book takes us on a Christmas sleigh ride around the world to discover traditions from Mexico, Sweden, the Philippines, Poland, Italy, Kenya, and the United States. To celebrate a tradition from Mexico, the children made poinsettias.
