This month we went to the first grade rooms at Pope John and Elgin Public schools. We read the story ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas on the Farm<\/em> by Craig Manning. It’s the night before Christmas and not a creature is stirring except for a little lamb. A special visitor comes to the farm and visits the barn where most of the animals are fast asleep. It is a wonderful twist from the classic story with sweet farm animals and rhymes. After the story they made a rocking Santa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
