Gloomy Day Smoothie

“This smoothie is so bright, cheerful, and delicious, it is like a blast of sunshine on even the most rainy, windy days!”

Original recipe makes 4 servings           PREP:   10 mins.             READY IN:   10 mins.

Ingredients:

1 mango, peeled, seeded and cut into chunks

1 banana, peeled and chopped

1 cup orange juice

1 cup vanilla non-fat yogurt

Directions:

  1. Place mango, banana, orange juice, and yogurt in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve in clear glasses, and drink with a bendy straw!

Idea Choices:

  • Can use homemade vanilla ice cream instead of yogurt. A very tropical tasting and has a pretty, pastel peachy color. Frozen mango ensured this was good and cold!
  • It makes delicious popsicles, too!
