What do The Friends do?
Using membership fees, fundraising money and other contributions, Friends of Seward Library supplements library services and materials beyond the library's normal operating budget. They support the library in several areas including the Summer Reading Program, National Library Week, special author visits, Volunteer Week recognition, and more. Friends attend two meetings each year and are called upon at various times throughout the year to volunteer their time at fundraisers and provide refreshments at programs and events.
