Congrats to Evie and Allie Freeman, daughters of John and Audrey Freeman who just completed the <strong>\u201c1000 Books Before Kindergarten\u201d<\/strong> program.<br \/>\nThey both received a metal, certificate, prize and a free book from the library for their reading accomplishment. Evie and Allie love coming to the library to play with the puppets and one of their favorite books<span class=\"text_exposed_hide\">&#8230;<\/span><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"> is \u201cBetty Bunny Loves Chocolate Cake.\u201d Evie will be attending Kindergarten at Holy Trinity this fall and loves to read because it helps you learn.This program was launched to instill the love of reading, get children ready for school, and to encourage more parent\/child library visits<br \/>\nBooks are logged and prizes are awarded along the way. One of the best ways to encourage pre-reading skills is to spend time sharing books each and every day! Reading provides a solid foundation, a key to school and learning success.
