Have you kept that New Year’s Resolution, or has it gone by the wayside already?\u00a0 It’s never too late to start something you really want to do.\u00a0 Never too late for self-improvement.\u00a0 Never too late to do something you should have done a long time ago.\u00a0 Unfortunately, good intentions just doesn’t get it done.\u00a0 It takes action.\u00a0 That’s my problem.\u00a0 I make a plan to do it later, and then later slips away.<\/p>\n
What is it that you want to do?\u00a0 Start a diet?\u00a0 Write a letter?\u00a0 Draw up a will?\u00a0 Clean out the garage?\u00a0 If you answered ‘Read a good book’, your local library can help you with that!\u00a0 We have over seven thousand items in the Hayes Center Public Library to choose from.\u00a0 And, if we don’t have it we can get it for you.\u00a0 All you do is pay the postage back to the lender library which adds up to only a couple of dollars per book.\u00a0 Pretty good deal!<\/p>\n
We all have our preferences of brands on food, clothing, vehicles, etc.\u00a0 Some of us stay with the old proven brands and others (like me) enjoy trying something new.\u00a0 Do you have a favorite author?\u00a0 Is there a new\u00a0author you want to try?\u00a0 Call or stop in and let your voice be heard.\u00a0 I’m always looking for new ideas.\u00a0 And, I love hearing from the patrons of this community.<\/p>\n
We’ve added new books lately to the children’s and youth sections, the western, non-fiction and mystery sections, and the Christian and large print sections.\u00a0 We’ve also had some very generous gifts from Hayes Countians which will allow for additional new items in the future.\u00a0 Why not come in and Check It Out. . .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
