Stop by Hooper Public Library next Fri & Sat. April 15th & 16th for some delicious baked goods and/or used books for sale. This annual fundraiser, held during National Library Week, will help support our summer reading program which will include “ZOOLYMPICS” this year, brought to us by Henry Doorly Zoo. This event will be held June 6th at 1:00p.m. at the Hooper City auditorium so mark your calendars! It will be a really fun show to see and a great way to kick off our summer reading program. The theme this year is “ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, READ!” Details about our SRP will be sent home from school at a later date but you do not have to be signed up to attend this free event.
If you would like to donate baked goods to our bake sale please have them at the library by Thur. April 14th. We also welcome cash donations to our summer reading program.
If you do not currently have a library card at HPL please stop in today! Anyone in the Logan View district is eligible for a free card. The library offers many great services for patrons. In addition to borrowing books and movies you can also use our public computers & free Wi-Fi, make copies or print from computers, use our die-cut machine, or take advantage of interlibrary loan on titles we do not carry. Nebraska Overdrive is another free service we offer which enables you to borrow e-books or audio books on your computer or other device.
Be sure to support your local library during National Library Week April 10th-16th. Everyone is welcome at Hooper Public Library!
