{"id":235,"date":"2011-09-21T14:49:27","date_gmt":"2011-09-21T20:49:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/imperial\/?page_id=235"},"modified":"2019-04-12T11:38:27","modified_gmt":"2019-04-12T17:38:27","slug":"library-cards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/libraries.ne.gov\/imperial\/library-services\/library-cards\/","title":{"rendered":"Library Cards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applying for a Library Card<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Library cards are free of charge to Imperial City Residents.\u00a0\u00a0Those living outside of the city taxing authority are charged an annual fee for a card.<\/li>\n<li>Parents or guardians must accompany children applying for library cards.<\/li>\n<li>A photo ID and proof of address are required of all applying for a card.\n<ul>\n<li>current bank statement<\/li>\n<li>current utility bill<\/li>\n<li>current telephone bill<\/li>\n<li>current cable bill<\/li>\n<li>mortgage payment coupon\/agreement<\/li>\n<li>lease agreement (six month minimum)<\/li>\n<li>payroll check (with printed address)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>New card holders will be limited to four (4) items at one time for the first year.<\/li>\n<li>Fines for books and audio books are $.10 per day and $1.00 is charged for VHS tapes not rewound.<\/li>\n<li>Clients may NOT check out materials on a card other than their own.<\/li>\n<li>Each card holder is responsible for all materials borrowed and all fines or fees accrued on his or her account.<\/li>\n<li>Videos, whether VHS or DVD, can <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">only<\/span> be checked out on adult cards.\u00a0 Written permission from a parent or guardian is needed for children to check out these materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Applying for a Library Card Library cards are free of charge to Imperial City Residents.\u00a0\u00a0Those living outside of the city taxing authority are charged an annual fee for a card.
