First of all, this weekend at our Santa event we will be selling raffle tickets for a beautiful quilt that Pat Peterson of Tilden, Ne, made and donated to the library.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Remember Santa will be at the Fire Station from 1-3 Saturday afternoon, with the Fire Department furnishing the goody bags for the kids. Horse-drawn wagon rides will also be available for even more fun.
Saturday I received the great news that our grant with ADM, this company has the elevator south of Meadow Grove, has been accepted! Funds from this grant are going to fund a special event during Summer Story Hour next summer. Sorry, I can’t tell you what yet!
The last bit of good news, and also very important to us, is that our library was lucky enough to have their name drawn in the Library Commission’s drawing for extending our accreditation another year, This means we are accredited until 2020! This is really super!!
