As a part of its community building initiative, the Ponca Carnegie Library will host MUSE; themed, open-mic storytelling sessions that offer a platform for people to share and listen to each other’s stories. Participants share stories to entertain, inspire and connect with people in the community.
If you would like to share a story, please read the guidelines below
GUIDELINES FOR SHARING A STORY
- Stories can be fiction or nonfiction and must be original works.
- Stories should be based on the theme.
- Storytellers are expected to share a story, not their ideas, opinions or rant.
- Time limit per teller is 8 minutes.
- Participation open to community members 14 years of age and older.
- Storytellers should arrive 15 minutes prior to event to speak with host about their planned story & add name to sign-in sheet.
- No profane language. Please keep it clean.
