A representative from Barnes and Noble will be at the Summer Reading Program on Wednedays, July 2 at 10 AM. Books will be give to children who have done their “summer reading”.

July 12th, Saturday at 10 AM, is the date set to discuss Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. We are encouraging readers of all ages to join in the discussion and enjoy a small brunch.

Story Hour will end on Wednesday, April 30th. Make plans to attend Summer Reading starting Wednesday, June 4th at 10 AM with Mrs. Curry.

The April meeting of the Ponca Carnegie Library Board of Trustees will be held at the library on Monday, April 21, at 7 PM.

Chess club will meet on Monday, April 7th at 7 PM. Any and all who like to play chess – or want to learn – are most welcome.

The Ponca Public School chapter of The National Honor Society will be providing a one-on-one computer tutoring session on Monday, March 24th, at 7 PM at the Ponca Carnegie Library. Get those computer questions answered. Have someone walk you through a new venture. It’s coming!!!  The Annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash will be held at the library on Thursday, March 6th at 6:30 PM.  All young children are invited to attend with a parent.  It will be “loads” of fun!!!

Friends of the Library will meet on Thursday, February 6th at 7 PM to discuss  Craig Johnson’s A Cold Dish.
