Having your identity stolen is a terrible experience. The Federal Trade Commission, in partnership with the Public Library Association, has produced a suite of materials on identity theft and identity protection and made them available for download or bulk ordering from the FTC website http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/idtheft2012/.

Brochures on the website offer tips for recognizing child identity theft. Three animated videos are also available.
