Calling aspiring artists

Schuyler Public Library is looking for more aspiring artists to participate in a comic book project this summer.

On June 30, artist Dylan Jacobson will host a comic book workshop at SPL. The 10 artists selected will each receive materials with which to create their own comic book.

Jacobson will encourage the artists to produce a comic book that will be available for check out at the library. Cost of one comic book will be paid by SPL.

Once the completed comic books are received by the library, they will be unveiled during a reception and put on display!

Schuyler Public Library will select the 10 artists by having the aspiring authors submit a small sample of their work.

. Additional copies of the finished comics can be purchased at any time.
