Silent Book Club

Silent Book Club

Every Third Tuesday night this summer (May 20, June 17, July 15, and August 19) from 6:30-8:30 pm at Scotia Public Library we will enjoy refreshments (hot drinks and a sweet treat will be served, feel free to bring your own non-alcoholic beverage), and then spend an hour reading quietly. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books. Whether you’re an introvert who isn’t interested in the dynamics of a regular book club, or you’re just so busy that you can’t seem to make time to sit and read, our Silent Book Club at Scotia Library is for you. Think of it as an exercise in SELF CARE!

Genealogy Club: Every First Tuesdays in May, June, July and August (May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5).

Join us at Scotia Library for our Genealogy Club from 6:30-8:30 pm. This is a group of individuals who get together in person to talk about and work on their personal genealogical research. Drop in for help with your genealogy research or share stories, techniques, and discoveries. All levels of experience welcome!
