Tannenbaum Update
The Tannenbaum Festival is just around the corner, November 17th 10am-4pm in the Mohr Auditiorium. Do not miss your chance to win some great door prizes and raffle prizes. Just to give you a sampling, raffle prizes will include: a gardening basket, Bath & Body Works basket, Club 31 bags (a Nebraska bag, Scribner-Snyder bag, and a thermal bag), gift certificate for a memory bear, a girls size small Nebraska shirt signed by Jordan Larson, and lots more! If you are displaying a tree at the festival make sure to get your tree description form turned into the library. We are beginning to type up the program and want to be able to include everyone’s tree.

The Book Bug
Story time is this Friday the 12th at 10:30am in the library. Kids and parents are welcome to join Angie for a fun-filled time with stories, activities and crafts.
I would like to give you all another gentle reminder about the Tannenbaum Festival. We want to display your beautiful trees, so sign-up today! Also, if you would like to volunteer the day of the event please give us a call, we would love to have you.
We are asking all of Scribner for their help supplying gently used items for our Santa’s Attic table at the Tannenbaum Festival. Please clean out your old Holiday themed knick-knacks, dishes, and decorations. We will also accept gently used holiday themed kids toys. So if there are items that you are no longer in love with but feel someone else may love, donate them to us and we will find the items a new home!
New adult books this week include: Robert Ludlum’s The Janus Reprisal by Jamie Freveletti, NYPD Red by James Patterson, Mad River by John Sanford, and Bloodline by Francis Felix.
New biographies and non-fiction include: The Amateur by Edward Klein, The Real Romney by Michael Kranish and Scott Helman, and Mitt Romney: An Inside Look at the Man and his Politics.
We also have Rick Riordan’s newest installment of the Heroes of Olympus series The Mark of Athena.
Don’t forget to follow Scribner Public Library on Pinterest and like us on Facebook!
