THREE NEBRASKA WRITERS COMING TO<\/p>\n

THE SHELBY COMMUNITY \u00a0LIBRARY FOR BOOK SIGNING<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15th<\/sup>, from 10 am to 12 noon for Kathy Nelson\u2019s, Rick Godejohn\u2019s & Karin Schreurs book signing at the Library. \u00a0The writers will take turns giving book talks starting at 10:30 am.<\/p>\n

Kathy\u2019s book is about GEORGE FLIPPIN who was the first African American to play football for UNL in the 1890\u2019s. Flippin became a doctor in Stromsburg, Nebraska.\u00a0 Kathy is from Stromsburg NE.<\/p>\n

Rick\u2019s book is a new romance fantasy novel. \u201cTime in Eternity\u201d is the story of an immortal man finally finding the one thing worth living for, only to find himself torn with a dilemma. Rick is from Shelby NE.<\/p>\n

Karin Schreurs, has written two children\u2019s books.\u00a0 Her former students have illustrated both of these inspirational \u2018tails of truth’ series.\u00a0 The two books are entitled, “Penguin Powered Prayer” and “Squirrel Life” – Godly Wisdom for Everyday Living.\u00a0 Karin is from Rising City.<\/p>\n
