Author, Marci Broyhill, Prairie Poet & Storyteller will honor Cowboy
Poetry Week with a presentation and book signing at the South Sioux
City Library in South Sioux City, Nebraska on Thursday, April 22, 2021
at 6:30 PM.
Marci has just published her second book,
The White Horse Dream: A
True Story.
Her first book, Nebraska’s Outlaw Trail: Facts, Legends
, and Lore
was published in 2019.
Marci is on the Humanities Nebraska [HN] roster with her program,
Nebraska’s Outlaw Trail, Highway 12. Marci is also on the HN in a duo
with her sister, Teresa Kay Orr as
Sisters of the Outlaw Trail. Marci’s
narrative poetry highlights situations where universal forces of good and
evil; past and present intersect.
Marci grew up in rural Nebraska along the Cedar-Dixon County Line
between Nebraska’s Cowboy Trail, Highway 20, and Nebraska’s Outlaw
Trail, Highway 12. She balances her presentations with current
information, history, reflection, and humor. Marci currently lives in
Dakota City, Nebraska.
