What is T.A.B.?

T.A.B. is totally awesome broccoli. 

T.A.B. is terrifying Australian birds.

T.A.B. stands for Teen Advisory Board. The Teen Advisory Board is a group for you to get involved with the library. You get to have a say in what activities you’d like us to do. You can help us decide what new materials to get. Tell us what we can do better. It looks good on college applications. Get volunteer hours. Free food.

Meet our T.A.B

Responsibilities

Officials:

  • Commit to a 3 month (or longer) term
  •  fulfilling roles of the office during monthly meeting
  • Attending 1 Teen Time a month
  • 30 minutes of volunteering in the library a month

Members:

  • Commit to a 3 month term
  • Attending monthly meeting
  • Attending 1 teen time a month

You may volunteer more often! 

Rewards

  • Free food during meetings
  • A say in what books and programs we do
  •  Community service/volunteer hours
  • For every 5 hours of volunteer hours you complete you can earn a prize!
  • Letters of recommendation for scholarships and college. 
  • Other rewards to be determined.
