Spalding’s Public Library Book Club met Monday, February 10th to discuss January’s book selection “The Book Thief” by Markus Zukas. The group of 5 women had an enjoyable time discussing this moving and unforgettable story about the ability of books to feed the soul. Death himself narrates this World War II-era story. A copy of this book is available at the library for check out. February’s book club selection is “Animal Dreams” by Barbara Kingsolver. “Animal Dreams” is a passionate and complex novel about love, forgiveness, and one woman’s struggle to find her place in the world. The Spalding Public Library book club will meet again on Thursday, March 6th at 5pm to discuss this book. Everyone is welcome!! Stop by and check us out!!
