It’s that time of year again, time to cut the clutter and get organized. One way we do this at the library is to get rid of magazines that are 2 years old or older in some cases. Gone are the days of doing a research paper using the Reader’s Guide to Periodicals! (Anyone remember those?) So goes the need to keep magazines around for five or ten years. The library typically keeps back issues of our magazines for one year. Some magazines are held longer due to content that might be relevant in the coming years.
The magazines are free for the taking and are available on the large table in the center of the library. Take as many as you want!
