Postwar Pop Presentation

Postwar pop: Memorabilia of the Mid-20th Century.
From the 1920’s onward, America was flooded with pop culture collectibles. Join Donald-Brian Johnson’s entertaining, informative program that examines how these trends of the times came to be. A colorful power point presentation, and artifact samples, bring the mid-twentieth century vibrant life.  Retro, yet up-to-the-minute, “Postwar Pop” is an invigorating exploration of the tastes that shaped an era.  Prairie Days weekend – July 31st at 2:00 pm by the library fireplace.

Willow Creek Prairies

Join Northern Prairie Land Trust at the Library Lied Auditorium on Sat July 24 at 10:30am for a photo tour of the Willow Creek Prairies.  Kyle Schumacher will highlight the importance of this Biologically Unique Landscape, and will share some history and his knowledge of the plants and wildlife that call these prairies home.  Refreshments will be served.
