This half-day workshop, facilitated by Dr. Saundra Wever Frerichs, Science Education Specialist with Nebraska 4-H, will take place on 31 January 2020. It will be held from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at La Vista Public Library at 9110 Giles Rd, La Vista, NE 68128. This is a free workshop and has 3 CE available.

Through hands-on activities, discussions and videos, you will be prepared to provide STEM learning experiences that are active, relevant, engaging, and appropriate for children. You will learn how to support participants in developing a STEM identity. To be prepared for their future, children need to see themselves as someone who learns about, uses, and sometimes contributes to science — someone who has a personal identity as a science learner.
