Check out this young adult novel that is a 2020 Golden Sower Award Nominee. This novel follows Marcus, who is facing suspension after a fight at school. His mother takes Marcus and his younger brother to Puerto Rico to spend a week with relatives that they’re unfamiliar with. But Marcus knows his father, who walked out of their lives ten years ago, lives somewhere on the island. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
