NEW ON THE SHELVES

In the Fiction area, we have:

James Patterson has been busy. We have “Zoo”, “I, Michael Bennett”, “NYPD Red”, “Merry Christmas Alex Cross”.

Nora Robert’s 3rd of Inn Boonsboro is here, “The Perfect Hope”, all the more interesting in that one of our volunteers stayed at the Inn recently on a trip East.

John Grisham, “The Racketeer”

J.K Rowling’s new book, “The Casual Vacancy”, you remember her from the Harry Potter series.

Can’t get “Fifty Shades of Gray” at your hometown library? We have it.

For Non-fiction lovers, “Bonhoeffer”and “Julia Child” have made an appearance. And I highly recommend ‘Killing Lincoln” with “Killing Kennedy” soon to follow.

For Young Adults, “The Last Days of Lincoln” has come in and this is also one I would pick up after reading “Killing Lincoln” above. You will learn more about the Civil War than you ever did when you were in high school and find it enjoyable too!

We have had so many wonderful Juvenile books given to us that there are too many to list. Many Christmas books have been set out for you moms and dads to read to your children this Christmas Season.

“Downton Abbey”, Season 1 and 2 is available. So if you missed out on them on TV, you can catch up before Season 3 starts in January.

An older, funny movie is “Waking Ned Devine”, “Brave” for the kids, and “Moneyball” are available.
