York Uncorked

wine glass 2Do you have plans for Valentine’s Day yet?  If not allow me share an idea with you.  The Friends of Kilgore Memorial Library have partnered with Tom Mason, from Kirk’s Korner, to create a new fundraiser.  The first annual “York Uncorked” will be held at the library from 5:30 – 8:00 pm.  This is an after-hours event for adults only.  Many library friends member’s will be sharing decadent chocolates along with other snacks while distributors from Kirk’s Korner will be offering a fine wine collection as well as whiskey, vodka and
scotch for tasting.

Tickets for this fundraiser are $15 before the event and $20 at the door.  Each ticket includes a commemorative wine glass etched with the York Uncorked logo designed by our own Irene Duncan.   All proceeds will be used by the Friends group to support library collections and a variety of programs.  The doors will open at 5:30 for those who would like to stop by before going to other events.  For those who prefer to go out for dinner and finish their evening with friends at the library we will be celebrating until 8:00.  Tickets are available at Kirk’s Korner and the Library for payments by cash or check.  Credit or debit card sales are available at the Chamber Office.

Please consider attending this wonderful event to support the Friend’s of Kilgore Memorial Library and all they do for our library.
