Fall Library Crawl

Ainsworth Library is part of the Library Fall Crawl 2025

Twenty-four libraries across the central part of Nebraska are participating in our first ever Library Fall Crawl from September through Sunday, November 30, 2025.  The Crawl is designed to encourage residents of central Nebraska to visit, attend programming and explore the libraries in the Central Plains Library System.   To find programming information at the libraries this fall, go to https://libraries.ne.gov/cpls/fall-crawl. Participating libraries in the KBR area include the Ainsworth Public and the Rock County Library.

Please stop by the library and pick-up the Library Crawl Passport.  Library patrons will receive stickers and initials on their passports as they visit other participating libraries.  Once you have five stickers from five different libraries, you turn in your passport at the fifth library or at your home library.  The Central Plains Library System will provide 3 prize baskets valued at $250 each.  All  three prize baskets will include the newest model of the Amazon Kindle 16 GB eReader and assorted “cozy” prizes such as fuzzy socks, fleece blanket, mug, hot drink mixes, and candles.  Library Crawl Passport must be mailed to the Central Plans Library Systems no later than December 5th.  The three winners will be announced on December 15, 2025.

Now is the time to get your Library Crawl Passport and visit the libraries in the Central Plains Library System.  See how the libraries are all the same but yet very much different from one another!
