Catching up!

Sorry, I have not been updating this page! I am settling into my new job here at the Library. We ran a summer reading program, had a walking taco takeout meal and we are currently in “Camp Library 2020”. We cannot hold a true camp, but we have a fun play campsite in the children’s area, a fishing pond with prizes, take and make crafts, and Miss Dawn will make you a smore. Stop by and enter to win prizes weekly! We are still limiting the number of patrons to 10 at one time and doing extra cleaning to counters, tables, door knobs, and using Lysol spray on the play area. Looking forward to August already and making preparations for “The Dog Days of Summer”.

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Dawn C Brown and on April 1, 2020, I became the library director, taking over for Rachelle. She is dearly missed. I have some big shoes to fill. Currently, there are no reading programs or story hour being held, due to the Covid19 Crisis. I would like to encourage continued reading during this time. We anxiously await a return to “normal”, and I look forward to meeting all the patrons.
