LIBRARY CARDS

There is no charge for an individual library card to residents of the City of Blue Hill. It is also free for all students who attend Blue Hill Community Schools, preschool through 12th grade, even if they are not residents of the Blue Hill Community.

For non residents of the Blue Hill Community, there is an annual fee of $15.00.

A parent or guardian must sign for a child under the age of 12
- All current card holders are eligible for a free NebrasKard use at other participating libraries across the state.
BORROWING

Books and audios can be borrowed for two weeks

DVDs can be borrowed for one week
- Magazines can be borrowed for one week

Renewals can be requested for material less that 3 months old if no reserves are on file

A fine of five cents a day will be charged for overdue items; movies are charged fifty cents a day for late returns

Lost and damaged material will be charged at replacement cost
COMPUTER USE

Two public use computers are available for patrons

A laptop is also available when the desktop computers are in use

Printing is ten cents per page

Computer use is limited to one hour

Complete computer use policy is available at the library
NON-RESIDENTS

Non-residents of the City of Blue Hill may purchase a family card for an annual fee of $15
DONATIONS

Memorial Gifts may be made to the Blue Hill Public Library Friends Foundation

Donations of materials to the Library are used where necessary at the discretion of the Library Director and Board
INTER-LIBRARY LOANS

ILL (inter-library loans) or requests from other libraries will be made at no charge beyond $2.50 for return postage
