Our patrons had a difficult time voting for their favorites in each of the different categories. We had so many entries in the age 12 & under category (and no entries in the age 13-18 age category), that we awarded an extra prize in the age 12 & under category.

City of Central City

The City of Central City’s Public Library is currently seeking to fill the part-time position of Library Aide II.

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic individual who possesses excellent customer service, computer, and interpersonal skills.

Closing Date:  09/13/19 at 5:00pm or until the position is filled.

Hours:  19 hours per week (including at least one evening per week and at least two Saturdays per month).

Qualifications:  Graduation from high school with classes or experience in business or a related field. Prior computer and internet skills required.

Job Environment and Physical Requirements: May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.  Must be able to reach.  Must be able to lift on a frequent basis at least 10 pounds. Must occasionally be able to lift up to 30 pounds.  Must be able to work in an environment that is at times very busy and hectic.
