National Library Week 2013

Celebration National Library Week April 14-April 20, 2013
Community Matters @ the Fairfield Public Library!
The Library is working hard to provide resources to our wonderful patrons! The Library provides books, Dvds, vhs, Large print books, Books on Cd, 67 board games, multicard reader, magazines, 2 newspapers, projector, and screen for patrons to check out. The Library has WiFi internet, 5 laptops, 7 desktops, scanners, a Summer Reading program and a fax/printer/copier/ Interlibrary Loan service. The Library has an information center with lots of different subjects like Snap, Social Security, etc. The Library has an ADA station equipped with Dragon Naturally Speaking, Kurzweil 1000, Zoom Text, and Jaws. The Library has a museum and Alumni room. The Library has been serving Fairfield since 1914, almost 100 years now! The Library has 20,053 item for patrons to check out and served almost 4000 patrons last year alone! The Library is part of the Read Aloud Community, Facebook, Fairfield Community Club, Partners with NeWorks, NLC, RVLS, Pinterest, and we have our own webpage!
