Celebrate National Library Week April 7-13, 2024 at Hastings Memorial Library

(GRANT, NE) – Ready, set, library! National Library Week is April 7–13, 2024, and Hastings Memorial Library encourages everyone in the community to visit the library to take part in the festivities and explore all the library has to offer.

Libraries give us a green light to experience something truly special: a place to connect with others, learn new skills, and pursue our passions through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, programs, and more.

During National Library Week Hastings Memorial Library encourages you to stop by the library at 505 Central Avenue and celebrate. If you don’t already have a library card, sign up for one anytime throughout the week and receive a free gift.  You can also take part in our Bookmark the Library Contest.  Pick up a form to design a bookmark and return it to the library during the month of April.  Librarians will review the entries, and several winners’ designs will be chosen to be reproduced on bookmarks given out to patrons all summer long!
