Hooper is such an awesome community, our Bake/Book sale was a great success. On behalf of Hooper Public Library I would like to thank the Friends of the Library and all patrons who donated baked goods, used books and cash to our Bake & Book sale. We had a great turnout for the sale and appreciate all of the public who came in to buy items as well. All proceeds from the sale will benefit our summer reading program for children. I am very pleased to announce that we will be having Jeff Quinn here to perform his Magic Show. Watch for more details on that.
The used book & movie sale will continue so please stop in and see our selection, there is still a lot to choose from. If you do not have a library card at Hooper Public Library stop in and sign up for one today. Check our Facebook page or website for details about what is going on at the library and new materials we may have. We are currently working on expanding our DVD section. If you have used DVD movies that you would like to donate to the library we would accept those and add them to our collection.
We also have magazines for check out including such titles as HGTV Magazine, Oprah, Consumer Reports, Real Simple, Golf magazine and Hail Varsity among others. Nebraska Overdrive is another great service we offer if you use a tablet or other device for reading books. Stop in and ask for details.
