Time flies when you’re having fun! Last week marked my 7th anniversary as Director & Librarian here. Lois & Kay are still my trusty substitutes and keep things running smoothly when I am not here.
Our Board of Trustees consists of 5 members of our community and they recently elected officers.
Michael Mattes serves as president, Sally Oberg is vice president & Jamie Volpp is our board secretary. Anne Skidmore & Kelly Abrahams also serve as trustees.
Recently the board & I were able to accomplish a goal we have had for quite some time. We purchased a new awning for the front of the building and it looks great!
On Halloween I greeted 80 trick or treaters and the adults who accompanied them. It was busy fun night but I did manage to snap a few pictures of the cute costumes that came through.
The holidays are fast approaching now and we will have Mrs. Santa Claus story time again this year at the Main Street Extravaganza so watch for details on that!
