Scotia Public Library

School is closed because of drifting roads, but the librarian will be working at the library this morning from 9:30-11:30, and this evening from 6:30-8:30 (those books won’t re-shelve themselves!), and the doors will be open to patrons.

What a wonderful time we all had on Wednesday during story time with the Teen Advisory Committee and special guest, Eddie, the comfort dog! Special thanks to Eddie’s handlers for bringing him!

The Teen Advisory Committee led a wonderful story time!

Scotia Library’s Teen Advisory Committee sponsored their first story time and it was a hit! They chose books about whales and sharks to read and did a wonderful job!

Creative juices are flowing this Monday morning! Our young patrons were inspired by the challenges: “Draw a community picture with chalk” and “Make a pyramid with Legos”.

We had three winners from the first ‘guess how many’ challenge! There were 1000 puzzle pieces in the jar.
