Summer Reading Sign Up Starts In May

This year during Summer Reading learn how life was for a child on the Oregon Trail along with games and toys of the pioneer children.  There will be activities for all age groups each week, so come join the fun. Help us move our wagon along the Oregon Trail by helping us read our way down the trail. DVD, CD, and Game Disk Cleaning

New Items in the Library

The library receives  new books every month.  These books include children’s, large print,  regular print books and popular books in audio. We have also gotten a number of new movies in the last couple of months.  Come and check out what new or check out the card catalog online.

2015 Book for “One Book, One Nebraska”

Nebraska Center for the Book has announced the 2015 book for One Book One Nebraska.   This years book is “Death Zones and Darling Spies: Seven Years of Vietnam War Reporting” by Beverly Deepe Keever.
Beverly Deepe Keever was born and raised in Deshler, Nebraska and found herself halfway around the world reporting on the Vietnam War.

The library now has this book ready for checkout.  For other information on the book, author, or the Nebraska Center for the Book check out their website.

Spring is on the Way

As of February 24th there are only 24 days till the first day of spring.  Get rid of your  winter blues by reading a new book.  You can check out our catalog right from our home page.

Story Time to Start January 21st

Join us for books and activities each week for the next 10 weeks.

Any child ages 3 – 5 years old are  encouraged to join us on Wednesdays from 3:45 – 4:30 PM.

New Audios in the Library

audioThe library has  966 audio books in the library for check out. These are checked out for 2 weeks just like the paper copy.  The new shipment of unabridged audio book are in and ready to be checked out.
