Summer Reading Is Over For The Year

Summer Reading is over for another year.  We had 56 children who turned in minutes each week, and they read over 397 hours in 5 weeks.

We watched the Gnome Mobile (an old Walt Disney film) and had worms and dirt for our movie treat. Everyone had a good time.

The library gnomes have all left the library knowing that the children wouldn’t be there to hunt for them.  We will have to look for them out under the trees and bushes from the yards that they call home.

Gnome painting

We had a wild time last Wednesday painting gnomes. Check out our picturesgnome.

New Pictures

Summer Reading Program

Last Wednesday was our first day of  summer reading.  We have been hunting for gnomes, and checking out books about underground animals  and other things found underground.  Children ages 4 through 6th grade can come each Wednesday and share in the fun.  For more information call the library.

I Think it is Spring

Have you noticed the new picture?  I took down the snow scene.  I think it might be done snowing now.
