New York Times Bestselling Author Tosca Lee Visits CCPL!
๐๐๐ง๐ก๐๐๐ง ๐ฉ๐ค๐๐๐ฎ, ๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐จ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐จ๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ช๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ง ๐ค๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ ๐ฃ๐ค๐ซ๐๐ก๐จ, Tosca Lee ๐ฌ๐๐จ ๐๐๐ง๐. She gave a presentation about her book “The Long March Home” to the Lone Tree Readers book discussion group.
“๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฎ ๐ฉ๐ง๐ช๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ค๐ง๐๐๐จ, ๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ ๐๐จ ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐๐ฃ๐-๐ค๐-๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ก๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฃ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฅ, ๐จ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ๐๐ง ๐ค๐ ๐ช๐ฃ๐ง๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐.” Following her presentation, library staff had the opportunity to speak with her, leaving us inspired and eager to explore more of her literary works.
Before she left, Tosca generously gifted CCPL with two of her signed books: “The Line Between” and “A Single Light,” which we are thrilled to add to our collection.

We’re Hiring! $1,000 Part-Time, Temporary Grant-Funded Summer Internship Available at CCPL!
Who should apply: High School or college students (at least 15 years of age).
Applicant must have never been employed by a library, nor an intern at a library (previously or currently). There are no restrictions associated with students who have served as library volunteers.
Applications being accepted until 5:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2024 or until position is filled.
