Creative Minds Needed For A Thriving Community!
A group of Holdrege organizations and citizens are working together to apply to become a Certified Creative Arts District through the Nebraska Arts Council. The program gives our community a chance to apply for grants to improve our town’s livability and attract more visitors through art, music and creativity. We need everyone’s input and ideas on how to create a thriving new Iron Horse Creative Arts District in downtown Holdrege!
Join us for one of the following community sessions:
– Tuesday, August 1, 5:30 PM — Lost Way Brewery
Refreshments and pizza available to purchase.
– Wednesday, August 9, 6:30 PM — Holdrege Public Library
Refreshments and cookies provided.
– Friday, August 11, 9 AM — Nebraska Prairie Museum
Coffee, water and cookies provided.
Sessions will last about two hours and will include information about Creative Arts Districts. Participants will be asked to share their opinions on community assets and their ideas to help create a thriving district with more opportunities for art, music, entertainment and more!
