National Library Week is just around the corner! This year we will be celebrating with a Spud-tacular Potato Book Character Unique Art Exhibition. All ages are invited to participate!
Rules for this exhibition are as follows:
– Decorate a potato as your favorite book character.
– You may use any other materials you wish but the main part must be at least one real potato. You may use more than one potato if you like.
– Entries should be your original work.
– Be sure to attach a tag that you can get in the library containing your character’s name and book as well as your name.
– Bring your potato creation to the library on Monday, April 8th or Tuesday, April 9th for display. (POTATOES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ANY SOONER THAN THESE DATES!)
– Potatoes and correlating books will be on display until Saturday, April 13th. If we do not have the book to go with your potato character, we will print off a picture of the book cover.
– Potatoes need to be picked up either Saturday, April 13th or Monday, April 15th. Those not picked up will be disposed of.
*Registration is not required for this event.*
