On Monday October 20th The Bookenders book club hosted a special guest speaker at their monthly meeting. Lorna Von Seggern shared stories of her mother who arrived to this area on the Orphan Train. The book selection for October was The Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. The meeting was well attended and hostess Bonnie Wobken provided tea and cookies.
