Banned book we was a lot of fun we had photo ops for anyone that wanted to and lots of information on Banned books Miss Katie made a sign with some banned we that we have in our collection. (that we will keep in our collection). Please remember that most banned books are banned for the most ridiculous reasons, like mistaken identity of an author, or one word someone doesn’t like. However some books are banned for very good reasons, and should stay that way.
Well another Summer reading has come and gone and it was so much fun, what great adventures we had scavangor hunts, STEAM Kit days, prizes and more prizes. Lots of pages read and BINGOs, thank you to all how helped and participated and thank you for coming to the wrap-up party. We look forward to summer reading next year with lots more fun to be had. Thank you to everyone who helped.
Well Folks another summer reading has come and gone! We would like to thank all our donators we couldn’t do this without you!!
Thank you to C & R Motors, C Reflections, The Roasted Mug, The Dollar Store in Morrill, Platte Valley Bank in Morrill, Kelly Bean, I and L Coffee Roasters, Murdock’s, Century 21, Rustic Tavern, Lessert Insurance, and the Village of Morrill. Thank you to everyone who participated we couldn’t did it with out you, we ended up with 68 Pre-K, 30 children, 20 teens, and 20 adults.
With the Children and Pre-k program they read a total of 116,614 pages WOW nice job kids!!! The adults and teens got the play BINGO with 14 different cards each. Congrats to all the great Super Readers and BINGO winners!!!

Thanks to my board members and volunteers who helped plant our flowers, Pete who put the mulch down, Chris and his helpers who water and mow our lawn and keep it looking wonderful, to the Village of Morrill, and to Watson Manufacturing for helping us with the railing and our dedication plaques.
